Out of fuel
It is the day before the fundraiser and at 5.30am I realise that my 54year O.L.D. body and mind are out of fuel. There is much to do. Will it all get done? I switch on my computer and open the little video clip I have of the visit to S.D&NCC over 2 years ago. The children & mamas were still in the container room. Within a few moments I felt a surge of energy. YES! I felt excited again and motivated to get a move on with headbands for the participants and thinking of the other details needed to make the fundraiser happen. Thoughts of the children, the tireless and dedicated volunteers, of Nomasango and all she must face to MAKE things happen for the centre. With a prayer of thanks to God for giving us here in Australia the wherewithal to do something, I tackled the day. Am now LOOKING FORWARD TO tomorrow and our first event this year.
